The little girl pointed to the Bible on the mantle
and asked her mother, "Whose book is that?"
Her mother quite startled by the question replied,
"Why honey, don't you know?
That is God's book!"
The child demonstrating that she had a very
practical turn to her mind said, "Don't you think
that we had better give it back to him? No one
around here ever reads it."

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God,
and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for
correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect,
throughly furnished unto all good works.

The word "inspiration" is from the Greek
theopneustos, and means it is dvinely
breathed into.
ALL Scripture is given BY God TO man.
And, Scripture is PROFITABLE to mankind.
Scripture contains:
DOCTRINE - Communication of truths;
REPROOF - Convincing of truths;
CORRECTION - Restoring to truths;
INSTRUCTION in RIGHTEOUSNESS -
Teaching what is just and right.
The truths of God lead to reproof of sin;
teach how to live correctly; and give
instruction as to living rightly with God.
The mature Christian will labor in study
of the Word of God.
Then, he/she will be provided INSTRUCTION
for PROGRESS in living rightly with God.
If any would be "perfect" (mature), he/she
should STUDY the Word of God.
The intentionally STUDIOUS student will
obtain good grades in school.
The instentionally STUDIOUS Christian
will learn absolute truths about living.
