THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Sometimes, when a child writes a summary of a Bible story, it’s
On young boy wrote about the story of Noah.
”One of the important people of the Bible was Noah.
He was a good guy, but one of his kids was kind of a HAM.
Noah built a large boat and put his family and some animals
He asked some other people to join him, but they said they
would rather have a RAIN CHECK!”
13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into
such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell,
and get gain:
14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what
is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time,
and then vanisheth away.
15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live,
and do this, or that.
Some folk just play “games” with God.
One game is ignoring Him.
One game is acknowledging Him, but not allowing Him control.
One game is to try and get “fire insurance,” but not work for Him.
Most folk live today as if tomorrow will certainly come.
Consequently, they evaluate things to be done, then do what is
important to them and leave the other undone.
But suppose tomorrow DOESN’T come!
Would we reevaluate our list?
Life is BRIEF and UNCERTAIN!
We never know if we’ll be here tomorrow!
Are you trying to take a RAIN CHECK on God’s salvation?
One day that door will be SLAMMED SHUT!
Are you taking a RAIN CHECK on telling others of God’s salvation?
Tomorrow that person you love may not be alive!
Tragedies DO happen!
Don’t allow your important things to be pushed aside.
