Actions are important!

Bill & Sarah had argued.

Soon, she looked out the kitchen window and saw him cleaning
the deck.
She had asked him to do that for their son's graduation.

Instead of an open apology, he was doing as she wished.

She got it.
And said to herself, "His heart is in the right place."

Eph 4:22-24
22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man,
which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in
righteousness and true holiness.

LIGHT from the WORD.

Paul's statements above are about two things: apologizing to God, and committing to growth IN Christ.

We must apologize to God for our sin. (See Rom. 3:23 and Rom. 6:23)

Without an apology there is no true repentance.
Without committing to growth IN Christ, there is no real commitment.

The DAILY prayer of all Christians should be:

One receives God's love by surrender.
One exhibits love for God through ACTION!

Are your actions showing your love for God?

Love ya!
