THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Mom's four-year-old son was helping clean the kitchen one evening.
He dropped a glass and it broke.
Mom swooped him up to keep him from stepping on the glass.
Then she said, "Honey go out on the back porch and bring me
He said, "But Mom, it's DARK out there now!"
She said, "Just remember, God is with you."
He went to the back door, cracked it open a little and stuck his
Then he said, "God, if you're out there would you hand me the broom?"
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light
from the darkness.
5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night.
And the evening and the morning were the first day.
Light from the WORD.
Light and darkness divide time.
It's been that way since the very beginning.
There is also a diversity of circumstances in our lives.
We go from times of sunshine and happiness to darkness and concern.
But let us remember, God DIVIDES "the light from the darkness!"
In the sunshine times of our life, God is encouraging us and
In the darkness of our lives, God is still with us; strengthening
us through the difficulties, making us stronger.
Be CONTENT with the Divine order of good and bad.
Be CONTRITE and always seek God's guidance.
And, be CONTINUAL in faith!
God is faithfully leading us to that place where
"there is NO NIGHT there!" (Rev 22:5)
When you, or circumstances, make a mess of your life,
remember God is PRESENT!
Ask Him to give you a broom to clean up the mess!
