"BEING In The WAY"
Have you ever thought about the phrase
"In The WAY?"
It could mean you are obstructing someone
from their travel.
Or, it could mean you are in the way of
doing someone's bidding.
________SCRIPTURE____________________
Gen. 24:26-27
26 And the man bowed down his head, and
worshipped the LORD.
27 And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of my
master Abraham, who hath not left destitute my
master of his mercy and his truth: I being in the way,
the LORD led me to the house of my master's brethren.

_______THOUGHT________________________
Abraham called his "trusted" servant and told
him to go back to his brother's land and find a wife for
Isaac.
The servant was required to take an oath that he
would ONLY find a wife that came from the brother
of Abraham.
The servant also trusted God.
He found Rebekah at a well, and bowed his head
and worshipped God; because he had found a
woman whom Abraham had described.
Notice the statement the servant made in vs 27;
"I being in the way the LORD led me."
I believe there is a great lesson here.
Are we "in the WAY;" doing our Lord's bidding?
Or are we just "in the way;" obstructing someone
else?
