Today's Devotion:
"BELIEVE and LIVE"
Christians do not have too much trouble
BELIEVING God's Word; but,
they DO have trouble LIVING it!
_______SCRIPTURE____________
Heb. 3:15-16
15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear
His voice, harden not your hearts, as in
the provocation.
16 For some, when they had heard, did
provoke: howbeit not all that came out of
Egypt by Moses.

_______THOUGHT______________
The above Scripture is taken from Ps. 95.
Verses 6-9 of that Ps. is a call to worship
God!
ALL of the Israelites were delivered from
slavery in Egypt.
ALL of the Israelites were shortly brought
to the "Promised Land."
But SOME "provoked" God, because they
were AFRAID to do the WORK of TAKING
that "Promised Land!"
Therefore, they "WONDERED" in the
wilderness until ALL those who "provoked"
God were dead.
And they never entered into the land
which God desired to give them!
It is not difficult to BELIEVE God when He
offers forgiveness of sin, and a "Promised
Land" of eternal joy.
But it is a little more difficult to LIVE as God
commands; doing the WORK of sharing the
Good News of Christ's OFFER!
So, the question we Christians must all ask
ourselves:
Are we LIVING God's Word and putting His
principles and desires FIRST in our lives?
Or are we "provoking" God in unbelief by
NOT doing the WORK?!
BELIEVE and LIVE as you "hear" the Word
from the Bible!
