THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

‘Tis the command hardest to obey;
Yet, when obeyed, ‘tis the thought that brings us most comfort;
“Be STILL and KNOW that I am God!” (Ps 46:10)

It is great encouragement to know that God has such joy in His saints!

We are heavy with the consciousness of our own sin.
We despise our unfaithfulness toward the God of our salvation.
We daily lament the realization that others see our imperfections.
We struggle constantly with the frailties of our frame.
And, we battle continuously with the immorality of our surroundings.

Yet, the Lord Our God says, “He will REJOICE over thee with joy!”
He “rest(s),” or takes solace in His saved people!
And, God takes “joy” in His people!

God expresses delight in His people.
Who could imagine Him bursting into song concerning us?

Today, my Christian friend, be inspired that the God of creation is your salvation!
Be encouraged that He Who has saved you will also keep you!

And respond to His joy in you with “singing and making melody in your heart unto the Lord” (Eph. 5:19).

Love ya,
Bruce
