2 Cor 3:18
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

To be saved is to surrender to Christ as Lord.
Upon that salvation, the Lord begins regeneration, which is making things NEW.
He also begins transformation, which is changing our character to be more like Jesus.

His Holy Spirit enters our person, and then we begin changing.
We are changed by the working of His Holy Spirit.
We are changing "into the same Image from glory to glory."
The Image into which we are changed is the Lord Himself.

Now, notice HOW we are changed:
As "we....., with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord...."

We behold Him as in a "glass," which could be termed a mirror.
That mirror is the Word of God, the written expression of His Person.

The more we learn of Jesus from the Word, the more Image God's Holy Spirit has to work with.
As we learn, He molds!

Are you studying the Bible to be changed more and more into the image of Christ?

We are changed FROM “glory” TO “glory.”
Man already has “glory,” which was given by the Lord.
Behold the "glory" of man which was given by the Lord.
It is diminished by sin!

Behold the "glory" which was given to Jesus.
He was without sin!

The PROBLEM is:
The human spirit is always “stiffnecked” and resists the work of God’s Holy Spirit.

Let us then, who are sinners all, be not only regenerated, but also transformed by the Image of Christ!

Behold Him in the Word.
Learn of Him.
And allow Him to transform us by purposefully taking HIS Person into our person!

Love ya!
