THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
A young lady in college was given a book.
She read it to the end, then said,
"My, that was a boring book."
Her fiance said, "Did you notice the author?"
She looked, and her fiance was the author.
Then she decided it was a very interesting book!
What made the difference?
KNOWING the AUTHOR!
For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
LIGHT from the WORD.
The Bible is the revelation of Jesus Christ. (See Rev. 1:1)
It is the revelation of Him as LORD: Master, Owner, Creator.
(See John 1:1-3)
The word "LORD" in Ps. 119:89 above is the
Hebrew word Yehovih which is the same as Yehovah,
and used in relation to Elohim, or Adonai.
All meaning LORD of ALL!
The word the angel used to describe the new-born babe
in the manger was Kurios, which is the Greek
translation of LORD in the Old Testament. (See Lk. 2:11)
The Bible is the revelation of Jesus as LORD!
Perhaps you'll find the Bible more interesting if you
KNOW the AUTHOR as LORD!
