2nd, the Word of God TAKES us.
3rd, the Word of God MAKES us.

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing
by the Word of God.

Sin is the cause of mankind's decadency,
degeneracy and decline.
When we LISTEN to the Word of God it
breaks our heart because of our sin against
God.
The Word of God becomes ALIVE and is
accompanied by the Spirit of God to
convict us of sin.
Hebrews 4:12 says,
"For the word of God is living and powerful, and
sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing
even to the division of soul and spirit, and of
joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the
thoughts and intents of the heart." (NKJV)
Then, the Word of God TAKES us, or
CAPTURES us.
Because the Word of God is TRUE!
"Thy Word is true from the beginning: and
every one of thy righteous judgments."
(Ps. 119:160)
ONE thing man cannot argue against is
TRUTH!
Then the Word of God MAKES us!
"Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but
of incorruptible, by the Word of God,which
livent and abideth for ever." (1Pet. 1:23)
When we are BROKEN because of our sin,
and we are CAPURED by the truth of God's
eternal Word, then we surrender to Christ,
obtain forgiveness, and the Word of God
begins to CHANGE us!
