I heard about a bear that had been kept penned up in a 12 foot
cage for several years.
He provided entertainment at carnivals.

One day the merciful owner took the bear way out into the forest,
opened the cage and set him free.

Lo and behold, the bear would only pace back and forth
within a 12 feet area!

John 8:36
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

LIGHT from the WORD.

Most Christians are kinda like the bear in the example above.
They build themselves and imaginary cage, and try to live within it.

Some live in their “cage”:
tortured by memories of past mistakes,
enslaved by legalism,
engrossed in the expectation of others,
limited by feelings of insecurity, inferiority, and inadequacy,
doubting the good merciful love of our Lord and Savior to forgive
and save completely.

These imaginary “cages” limit the freedom our Lord has given us.
They also diminish the capacity to be a “witness” for our Lord.

The true freedom Christ gives:
SAVES us in merciful love,
SEALS us in His Holy Spirit,
SANCTIFIES us by His cleansing blood,
STORES in us the guarantee of eternal life in glory with Jesus,
And SENDS us to testify to His marvelous salvation!

Break down the walls of your imaginary cages!
Begin living in the “free indeed” life!

Share Jesus with everyone you meet!

Love ya!
