THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

An agnostic is someone who says he doesn't know anything about God.

When you agree with him, he gets angry.

Heb 10:24-25
24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is;
but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Perhaps we'd be more positive about Who God is and what He's like if we spent more time in our Bibles
which is "The Revelation of Jesus Christ!" (Rev. 1:1)

In 2Timothy 4, Paul was telling Timothy that his "race" in life was almost run.
He also told Timothy to come and visit him.
When Timothy came, Paul wanted him to bring a "cloak...but especially the parchments."
(2Timothy 4:13)
The cloak was probably an outer covering, or type of mantle.
It was something in which Paul could pack his clothes and books.

But Paul "especially" wanted the "parchments."
They were studies in the Bible!
The Bible is full of encouragement!

Another place that Christians find encouragement is in church.
There we gather for worship, education, spiritual inspiration, and collective work to tell others of Christ and minister in His Name.
It is important that we "not forsake..." that precious assembly.

There we find encouragement from others.
There we can BE an encouragement to others.
There we "consider one another" as fellow brothers and sisters contending with the difficulties of life.
There we "provoke one another unto love and good works."

Be encouraged today, read the Bible.
Christ is coming SOON!
The race of difficulty in life is almost over.

Be encouraged today, attend church.
Fellow brothers and sisters can encourage you in life.

Be an encourager today.
Help others by encouraging them in the "race" of life.

Love ya!
