What does the word "redeeming" mean?
To buy back, to restore.
The Greek word is exagorazo, and means
to buy up, ransom, and rescue from loss.
WHY do we redeem something?
To USE it!
To me, the context of our Scripture above
The more time we spend with Jesus, the
PLAN to USE time to:
Love ya!
has always intimated that I should USE the
time God has given with forethought and
planning.
168 hours per week.
How do we RESTORE them for proper
USE?
Our time is IMPORTANT, because we
will, one day, have NO MORE!
So, let us RESTORE for use by:
PLANNING it,
ORGANIZING it,
and USING it for God's purposes.
LESS time will be spent in laziness,
contention, selfishness and arrogance.
STUDY God's Word,
and VISIT others in an evangelistic effort.
