THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
When the rain falls on the earth, it helps plants to grow.
So it is with the Word of God.
When we study, it helps us grow and teach others.
Make me to understand the way of thy precepts:
so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.
Deuteronomy 17:18 instructed the king to have a copy of God’s Word
beside him, and to meditate in it every day.
David studied that Word.
As a result, he was able to “talk of thy (God’s) wondrous works.”
Psalm 119 is all about God’s Word.
Many Christians today want to live ON Christ, but not FOR Christ.
They enjoy taking in, but fail to give out the Word of God.
In John 21:12, Jesus (after His resurrection) told the disciples:
”come and dine.”
He had prepared fish and bread for them.
After they had eaten, Jesus told Peter “feed my sheep!” (John 21:16)
The “Word” we receive from studying our Bible is meant for strength.
It is to be taken in and given out to others.
We are to learn so we might teach others Jesus so they can know Him.
We are to learn and teach others so they might know Him better!
Be like the RAIN!
