THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
God doesn’t guarantee a life free from storms.
He guarantees watchful eyes and helpful hands as we go
through the storms.
1 Peter 2:1-3
1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies,
and envies, and all evil speakings,
2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word,
that ye may grow thereby:
3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
LIGHT from the WORD.
We have just celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ the LORD.
Let us determine to celebrate Him MORE by living in
the LIGHT of His WORD!
When we have spiritually "tasted that the Lord is gracious,"
then we are more able to act in kindness to difficult circumstances.
And, the more we study God's Word, the better able we are to
react daily to what happens in life.
No matter what we face today, it COULD BE worse!
We don't deserve BETTER just because we're Christians.
We are supposed to grow up and face things like Jesus.
When He was facing the cross He said,
"Father forgive them; for they know not what they do." (Lk 23:34)
"...desire the sincere milk of the Word..."
STUDY the Word.
LEARN the Word.
HEED the Word.
Then, you won't react to life's difficulties with:
"malice, .. guile...hypocrisies...envies...and evil speaking."
CELEBRATE Christ through LIVING!
