Instead of searching vainly for the “fountain of youth;”
How about finding the fountain of SMART?

The airman came to his First Sergeant.
He said, “Sir, my immediate supervisor, Sgt. Kelley is off his rocker.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he asked me to jump in the lake!”

First Sergeant, “Well, I doubt that is true. But if it ever happens, you come see me.”

The airman looked pleased.

The First Sergeant added, “But, WHEN you do come complaining again – you better be WET!”

Prov 9:10
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom:
and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

The “knowledge of the Holy” that brings “understanding” is the knowledge that He is ALWAYS right!

That “knowledge” brings with it the “fear" of the Lord, which is to have genuine, or exceeding reverence.
And, that type of reverence is exhibited in willingness to accept and do His will.

To know Jesus is to know “...Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.” (1Cor. 1:24)

Jesus is the “power of God” for salvation (John 14:6, Rom. 1:16).
There is “...none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we MUST be saved!” (Acts 4:12)

Jesus is the “wisdom of God” displayed in man.
For, Jesus became “obedient” to God – even to death! (Philippians 2:5-8)

If one truly desires “understanding,” one will come to Christ.
If one is truly wise, one will exhibit that wisdom by following God’s will.

Christianity, my friends, is an exhibition religion!
It is lived by exhibiting experiential knowledge of Him Who has the power to save – or to condemn.

Love ya!
