Ya know, “trimming figures” is what some people do
when they tell their age.
A doctor was examining and elderly lady.
“Ok. You tell me you have shooting pains in the neck,
dizziness, and constant nausea.
Now, just for the record, how old are you?”
She said, “I’ll be 49 on my next birthday.”
He said, “Hmm....slight loss of memory too!”
Let no man despise thy youth;
but be thou an example of the believers,
in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
LIGHT from the WORD.
Paul, in the Scripture above, was writing to Timothy.
He was telling Timothy that his life should reflect maturity.
As a Christian, our ministry has to do with:
maturity, studiousness, and how we APPLY ourselves to life!
This is good advice, not only to the young, but to ALL
Be and EXAMPLE of true faith to ALL OTHERS!
How do we DO that?
STUDY: LEARN: GROW!
Be an EXAMPLE in “word, conversation, love, spirit,
faith and purity!”
This advice was given by Paul to a YOUNG man.
HOWEVER, this advice can apply to ALL Christians!
Are YOU exhibiting spiritual MATURITY?
Remember, others may not read the Bible; but,
they sure read Christians!
