Conscience is the dog that can't bite,
but never stops barking.
Deut 6:6-7 6 And these words, which I command thee this day,
shall be in thine heart:
7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children,
and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and
when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down,
and when thou risest up.
LIGHT from the WORD.
A true conscience is built upon learning God's Word.
Believe it or not, children NEED to hear the Word of God.
Hearing and learning the Word of God, helps develop a
conscience that is built upon principles of truth.
Training a child in the way they SHOULD go, gives them
foundational principles for living. (See Prov. 22:6)
This teaching/training is the duty of the parents!
See verse 7 in the Scripture for today (above).
Parents should speak of the Word of God ALL the time!
Conscience can ONLY be built on moral truths!
And, when children are taught properly, they develop
the "dog that never stops barking" when they consider
making moral choices.
