THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
There's an old saying:
"Cut your own firewood in the summer, and
it'll warm you TWICE!"
The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.
2 Tim 1:6
Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God,
which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.
Cutting firewood in the summer is definitely "warming" work!
So is prayer!
The prayer altar in our hearts should ALWAYS be burning!
1 Thess 5:17 says we should "Pray without ceasing."
Offer praise and thanksgiving for what God has done in your life.
He has given you "the gift of God," which is the Spirit of God, Who holds you fast through faith.
Remember, you are "kept by the power of God through faith..." (1Pet. 1:5)
Keep your prayer altar burning and God will keep your faith fire burning!
EVERYTHING that concerns you should be offered to God in prayer!
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication
with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding,
shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
you cut the firewood through prayer,
and God will keep your faith fire burning!
God is ALWAYS listening!
Are you praying?
