There are so many companies with news media
today, one hardly knows where truth really is
printed.
1 Thessalonians 4:13 would NEVER be used
by the majority of news media today.
It says, "But I would not have you to be ignorant,
brethren, concerning them which are asleep,
that ye sorrow not, even as others which have
no hope."
The Greek word for "ignorant" is agnoeo.
It simply means to be without knowledge.
The Greek word for "asleep" is koimao.
It sometimes is translated as DEAD.
So, let's look at that for a moment.
The contextual meaning would read like this.
"But I would not have you without knowledge
brothers, concerning those who are dead, so
that you would not have sorrow like them
who have no hope."
For Christians, it is a daily battle to separate
true news from rumor and opinion.
Be careful what you read.
Do your research.
If it doesn't agree with the TRUTH of the BIBLE,
then it is EVIL.
