HI!
Just before WWII was over, Frank Galen got a draft notice.
He was a comedy writer.
He reported for his army physical.
After a wait in the long line, he reached the desk.
The sergeant looked at his papers and said,
"So you're a comedy writer. Say something funny."
Frank looked at the line of recruits behind him and thought a moment.
Then he said, "OK! You ALL can go home now!
The position has been FILLED!"

Isa 6:8
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send,
and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

LIGHT from the WORD.
Isaiah had a vision of the Lord.
He saw the Lord "high and lifted up," and His glory filled the temple.
He saw seraphim crying out "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts."
What a glorious vision!
Isaiah knew the Scripture, and thought surely he must die because
he had seen the Lord.
But then God spoke, and the doorposts of the temple shook from the
force of His voice.
When God spoke, He asked, "Whom shall I send,
and who will go for us?"
Isaiah was quite willing to go and do anything the Lord commanded.
He answered, "Here am I, send me!"
Today, you and I have seen the Lord high and lifted up!
Instead of seraphim surrounding Him, He was nailed to a cruel cross;
and, they who surrounded HIm SPAT upon Him and hurled insults!
And, His body was bloodspattered with OUR sins!
The torment of separation from Holiness because of our sinfulness
was more than He could bear in His body, and He died literally of a
broken heart!!
Still, the power of His voice SHOOK the earth!
And, His Spirit split the veil of the temple in half!
After His resurrection, Jesus stood on the mountain and stated
what is called The Great Commission.
That "Great Commission" to all disciples still stands!
Being a Christian is MORE than just believing and being saved.
It also includes being an emissary of Christ Jesus!
Have you answered, "Here am I. Send me!"?
Can you say, "The position is FILLED?"
Love ya!
