THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Dad was bringing home work from the office almost every night.
His 3rd-grade son finally asked him why.
Dad explained he had so much work to do, he couldn’t get it all
done at the office.
His son asked, “Why don’t they put you in a slower group?”
For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work:
I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
Light from the WORD.
Through His “work,” God has forgiven our sins! (See Col. 2:13)
His “work” shall bring us from the beginning of our salvation
to the full completion (See Philippians 1:6).
God’s “work” allows us free access to His throne of mercy at
all times (See Heb.4:16).
Truly, God has made us “glad” through His “work!!”
Now, how shall we “triumph” in His “work?”
To triumph means to express victory.
When our olympic athletes win, they express victory in many ways.
They raised their hands, or carried their nation’s flag,
they cried tears of joy, they smiled and were exuberant.
We should express the victory God has given us.
Express the victory God has given you through:
praying in thanksgiving,
diligent study of His Word,
determined attendance in His church,
loving and caring for His “brothers and sisters” in His church,
carrying the GOOD NEWS to others.
Christians, don’t be found in the “slower” group!
TRIUMPH in God’s work by expressing the victories He’s given you.
That IS your work!!
