While getting in my chair this morning, I bumped my hand on the corner of the desk.

When I started typing I noticed blood dripping off the back of my
hand on the keyboard.

Did you know wet blood would short out a keyboard?

Luke 21:36
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted
worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass,
and to stand before the Son of man.

Light from the Word.
God knows ALL that is going on in your life?
God is omniscient - He knows EVERYTHING.
So, why then, does He command us to pray?

First of all, God created us to have communion with Him.
He desires our fellowship with Him.
One way we fellowship with God is to communicate with Him about
all that is going on in our lives.

Secondly, God created us to need communion with Him.
The more we fellowship with God, the less power temptations, fears,
and anxieties have on our lives.

Thirdly, prayer leads us to the Bible for direction.
God has said much in the Bible about prayer.
Through study of the Word, we find when to pray, how to pray,
and how often.
Most importantly, we find the manner of our prayer -
to be in surrender to God's will.

Therefore, prayer is an expression of our dependency upon our
Heavenly Father.

Without prayer, we are confined to the meager meal of self-provision.
But through prayer the way is opened to the banquet table of God's
endless provision.

Are you praying?

Love ya!
