I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and Ió
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying,
This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand,
and when ye turn to the left.
LIGHT from the WORD.
It is sometimes difficult to choose
"the road less traveled by."
But Jesus said, in Matt 7:13-14
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate,
and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction,
and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way,
which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
The easy way is not always the right way!
But, if we travel life on Jesus' road, He will tell us
WHEN to turn and WHERE to turn!
I like well-paved, wide roads when I travel.
Sometimes, though, there are construction zones!
Pylons on one side, and a deep drop-off on the other.
Driving, then, must be careful and focused.
We must trust we'll come THROUGH that zone and
enter a clearer highway soon.
Roads don't cause casualties, people do.
God doesn't cause casualties, sin does!
Only trust in Christ will lead us to His
Dare to take the road "less traveled by!"
