THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

Pastor Clifford S. Stewart of Louisville, KY, sent his parents a microwave for Christmas.
They couldn't make it work.
He talked to them on the phone, and told them about the directions packet inside the shipping box.
He sent them letters.
Still, they couldn't get it to work.

Finally, he drove the 700 miles to where they lived, and showed them how to operate the microwave.

While he was there, a next door neighbor came in and said, "Oh, a new microwave!"

Mom spoke up, "Oh, yes! We just needed our SON to come and show us how it works!"

THOUGHT____________________________________

God came in Christ showing unconditional love.
Jesus said "whosoever" believed in Him could have "everlasting life." (John 3:16)
None are so bad they cannot receive Christ.
None are so good they do not need Christ.

God came in Christ giving incontrovertible evidence of His Diety.
He caused the blind to see.
He made the lame to walk.
He healed the lepers.
He raised the dead.
Though he was crucified and laid in a tomb,
He ROSE AGAIN!

God came in Christ as light to men, and exhibiting real life.
John 1:4 says, "In him was life; and the life was the light of men."
Let it be known that "in Christ" is real life, and without Christ is death!
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
(John 14:6)
Acts 4:12 says, "Neither is there salvation in any other:
for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

Yes!
The SON came to show us how salvation works.
Surrender to Christ and have "everlasting life!"
Luke 9:23
And he said to them all, If any man will come after me,
let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

Love ya!
