THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Eight-year-old Sally came downstairs for breakfast and to catch the bus for school. As she sat down she said, "Good morning Mom." Then she began to pray.
She thanked God for the meal, her mom, her dad, and for the beautiful day -- but it was raining outside.
Sally's mom asked, "Honey, why did you thank God for a beautiful day when it is raining?"
Sally said, "Mom, we should never judge a day by its WEATHER."
((A day isn't known by its weather, but by its WHETHER!))
1 Sam 12:14
If ye will fear the LORD, and serve him, and obey his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall both ye and also the king that reigneth over you continue following the LORD your God:
Faith is not always reasonable.
That is why we don't make decisions with our minds.
We rationalize and reason with our minds.
Faith is not always exciting.
That is why we don't make decisions with our bodies.
But faith is always obedience to our Lord.
That is why we make decisions with our spirit.
The spirit is the place where our will determines what we do.
It is the will of our souls that determines our destiny.
"Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season."
It is also the will of our souls that determines the JOY we will have in this day.
Choose this day to serve the Lord fully and enjoy the pleasure of His company, and the power of His Spirit in your life.
YOU determine the outlook of each day!
