Her 5-year-old daughter was
eating breakfast before going
to kindergarten.

be SAD today."
Mom asked, "Why, honey?"
Daughter, "Because when we
are sad at school, the teacher
gives us a HUG!"

"Rejoice in the Lord alway,
and again I say, Rejoice."

HOW can one "Rejoice ALWAY(s)?"
Yet, the Scripture above is an
IMPERATIVE!
That imperative is EXPLAINED by
"IN the LORD!"
When we look around at the world,
we see chaos, upheavel, disarray!
And, yes, we can feel SAD.
But, joy is an active decision to
place our foundational purpose
"IN the LORD!"
One can have feelings of sadness,
and STILL dictate JOY by knowing
our lives are in the capable hands
of the Lord Jesus!
This rejoicing of which the Scripture
speaks is all about the fact we are
IN CHRIST, even though we are in
the world!
Each day, DICTATE to yourself that
you will SPEAK about what Jesus:
HAS done,
IS doing,
and WILL DO
for YOU!
Ps. 22:3 says, "God inhabits the
praises of Israel."
DICTATE your FEELINGS!
PRAISE JESUS - because
AS you REJOICE in HIM,
He lives IN YOU!
