1Cor. 1:26-29
26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how
that not many wise men after the flesh, not
many mighty, not many noble, are called:
27 But God hath chosen the foolish things
of the world to confound the wise; and God
hath chosen the weak things of the world to
confound the things which are mighty;
28 And base things of the world, and things
which are despised, hath God chosen, yea,
and things which are not, to bring to nought
things that are:
29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.

Not many who are "mighty, ... noble, are called".
WHY!
Because they are more concerned with their dignity
than with the DEITY of God!
Concerning verse 27, how does a seed produce
a plant?
The scientist and botanist say, "It GERMINATES."
Well, HOW?
Scientist want to talk about the warmth of the earth,
the fertility of the soil, etc.
But HOW does that make a seed germinate?
What?
No answer?
The foolish weak things of earth CONFOUND the
wise!!
NO flesh will EVER glory of self in the presence
of God!!
It's not about our dignity!
It's about humility in the presence of Christ
as DEITY!
