An elderly farmer was finishing his haying one Sunday morning as the pastor drove by on his way to church.
The pastor stopped and asked, "Brother, don't you know the Lord finished creation in six days and rested on the seventh?"

The farmer, wiping sweat from his forehead, looked and the preacher and said, "Yes, Sir. But He got DONE, and I didn't!"

Ps 73:22-24
22 So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.
23 Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.
24 Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

Scientists tell us the universe is contstanly growing, even though God tells us He is "done" making creation.
Though God's creation is growing, He is "done" because He knows its ENDING.
Yet God is still working in His creation to perfect the growth.

Grace is that power of God that came when I was "foolish and ignorant."
It convicted me that I was "foolish and ignorant," yet God was willing to SAVE me.

Faith is that power of God that came into me upon salvation, continually convincing me I am still "foolish and ignorant," but God cares and KEEPS me.

Though I am "foolish and ignorant," "nevertheless" God is continually with me and keeps me by His "right hand."
He guides me with "counsel" from His Word and Holy Spirit daily.
And I am assured by His promise that He will "afterward receive me into glory."

God's eye is constantly upon the true believer, carefully watching and providing.
God's hand is constantly holding the true believer, keeping him in the power of love.
More than this, God's heart is constantly with the true believer, pouring out love.

God is continually with the true believer and is working all things "together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." (Rom 8:28)

God is continually with the true believer making him "His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." (Eph 2:10)

Faith is God's power that inspires us to CONTINUE with Him.
"For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure." (Phil 2:13)

No, dear believer, you are not yet "done" in growing to what God wants of you.
No, dear believer, God is not "done" working in you, bringing you to perfection.
But rest secured in the fact that God is "done" because He knows your end, and "afterward" will receive you into glory!

Love ya!
