"We could certainly slow the aging process down if it had to work its way through Congress."
-- Will Rogers

Gal 5:25
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Some folk are intent on slowing the Christian aging process by
working it through worldliness.

Receiving God's Holy Spirit is instantaneous upon our conversion.
He is the gift of God Who gives both faith and produces godliness.
This is where Christians LIVE!

The most important part of a life of faith is the "walk" of faith.
True Christianity cannot be found without godliness.
Godliness is the result of God working His will and purpose IN us.
"For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure." (Philippians 2:13)

True faith desires godliness.
We are "rooted and grounded" (Eph. 3:17) in the being of Christ.
Therefore, we certainly desire to be more like Him.
We are strengthened by His Spirit in our "inner man" (Eph. 3:16).
Thus we desire to be more complete in His nature.

True faith requires godliness.
The root and and vine are Christ, we are the branches.
Being "grafted in" (Rom. 11:17) we require His strength for our livelihood.
"I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him,
the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing."
(John 15:5)

True faith produces godliness.
As we partake daily of the sap of His vine we produce His fruit.
It follows then, the closer we "walk" with Christ, the more Christ-like we shall become.

Increase your Christian aging process with more Bible study and prayer.
For, the more you know of Him, the more your character will change to be like Him.

Then we shall produce the fruit of godliness like a mirror reflects the light of the sun.

Love ya!
