DAILY DEVOTION

HI!

An American business man was in a foreign country
representing a large textile company.

He was making a speech.
And, since he didn't know the language, he was using an
interpreter.

The American told a rather long joke.
His interpreter made a short statement, and everyone
laughed.

Later the American asked the interpreter how he stated
the joke in such a short statement.

The interpreter said, "I just told them "man with big
checkbook, tell joke -- do what is appropriate.""

LIGHT from the WORD.

Jesus cannot fully reveal His salvation to us until He first causes
us to be driven to conviction and repentance.

Salvation is presented through many different people throughout
the Bible.
From Adam to Jesus each main character represents the love,
mercy and grace of God leading to salvation.
But the thematical manner is always the same because God
never changes.

I've been preaching this message over 39 years now:
WITHOUT SURRENDER THERE IS NO SALVATION!

God is not going to rope, tie, gag and drag anyone to heaven!
We must come as willing subjects to the Master of Eternity.
We cannot get to heaven unless we're willing to FOLLOW Jesus.
Only HE knows the WAY!

Let us, as saved Christians, proclaim Jesus' LORDSHIP!
We must meet Him "At The Cross," and die to self in order
to be CHANGED and become what He WANTS!

Let us, who are HIS, remember to live each day as Jesus,
our example, lived.
"Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me:
nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done."
(Luke 22:42)

The way of living WITH Christ, is in surrender TO Christ!
He will not be SAVIOR unless He is first LORD of our lives!

Now....YOU do what is APPROPRIATE!

Love ya!
