"DUAL Citizenship"
Peter Marshall was the chaplain of the
U.S. Senate in 1947-1949.
He made the following statement:
"I am rather tired of hearing about our
rights and privileges as American
citizens. The time is come - it is
now - when we ought to hear about
the duties and responsibilities of
our citizenship."

Caesar's, and to God the things that

The word "render" is from the Greek
apodote, which is a legal obligation and
NOT an optional matter.
Truly, government is ordained of God, and
requires obedience from the citizens.
Now, I agree, that most governments
certainly do not reflect the character and
attributes of God.
However, we - as citizens- must obey the
laws or be punished by the laws.
Now, the government should also have
total separation from the matters of
religion.
As Christian citizens, we should abide by
the laws of the government.
AND, we should strive to keep the WORD
of our Lord.
Christians have DUAL citizenship!
One of the government of man, the other
of the government of God.
The question is not about money in
particular.
It is more about RESPONSIBILITY!
Jesus is LORD of lords, and KING of kings!
If we truly follow Him, we will have very
little conflict with the government of man.
