DAILY DEVOTIONS

Today's Devotion:
"ESCAPE"

A lady called down to the desk of the hotel.
She sounded frightened.

She said, "Help me, I'm trapped in my room."

The clerk asked, "What makes you think you're
trapped?"

She said, "There are three doors. One leads to
the bathroom, on leads to the closet, and the
other has a sign on it that says DO NOT DISTURB."

_______SCRIPTURE____________

Gal 3:22
22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that
the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given
to them that believe.
23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law;
shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be
revealed.
KJV

_______THOUGHT______________

The word "under," in the Scripture above is from
the Greek hupo, which means: beneath, below,
or "shut in."

Yes, we are sinners ALL, and sinners ALL the time.
(Rom. 3:23)

But the GOOD NEWS is, God does NOT have
a "Do Not Disturb" sign on His ESCAPE door!

There is "faith," which came by Jesus Christ!

The law of God, in the Old Testament EXPOSES
our sin.
Yet, the GRACE of God is exposed in the NEW
TESTAMENT, through Jesus Christ.

"But God commendeth (demonstrated) His love
toward us, in that, WHILE we were yet sinners,
Christ died FOR us!"
(Rom. 5:8)

Jesus set the PATTERN for life with God.
He had NO SIN!

And, Jesus also OPENED the door to FAITH
in Him, which provides the way of ESCAPE!!

By coming to Jesus in surrender, we can
RECEIVE this FAITH!

The WAY of ESCAPE from the condemnation
of the Scripture is IN surrender to Christ as
LORD of our lives.

Have YOU found the ESCAPE door?

Love ya!
