THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
The rabbit eats vegetables only, runs and hops all day; but only lives 15 years.
The whale drinks tons of water, swims all day, only eats fish; but is VERY obese.
The turtle does hardly anything, yet lives 450 years!
If exercise were to really add years to your age, the postman would be immortal!
And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?
1 Tim 4:8
For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Yes, we would be foolish to NOT exercise the bodies we have.
Being a “couch-potato” is certainly not good for anyone’s health.
However, all this “hype” about exercise and diet for lengthening life-span is just that: HYPE!
We have today.
Tomorrow is not sure in anyone’s life.
The best way to live is:
Eat moderately, exercise moderately, and focus on living for Jesus.
Having genuine peace about length of life and the troubles of life is as easy as a, b, c.
Admit you’re a sinner.
Believe Jesus loves you and wants to save you.
Commit your life to Him.
The only REAL life is IN Jesus!
And THAT life lasts for ETERNITY!
EXERCISE for Jesus!
