A lady stopped behind another car at the red light.
The light turned green, but the first car didn’t move.
The lady blew her horn.
The light turned red.

When the light turned green again, the first car still didn’t move.
The lady began to pound on her steering wheel, and blow the horn profusely.

Then, blue and red lights flashed behind the lady’s car.
She was immediately arrested and carried to the police office.

When she was interrogated, the lady asked, “WHY did you arrest me?”
The police officer said, “Well, I have to apologize. We checked your driver’s license and your car registration, and you really are you. But, when I was observing you, I thought the car surely must be stolen.”

The lady asked, “Why?”
The police officer said, “Well, you have a bumper sticker that reads:

Isa 45:22
Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
Isa 55:3
Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
Matt 9:20-21
And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:
21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.

Faith is EXHIBITED in the things we do.

First, (Isaiah 45:22), faith is received by “looking” to God, our Savior, as the ONLY means of salvation.
It is when we surrender in trust to Jesus that we receive faith.
Eph 2:8-9 says,
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Second, (Isaiah 55:3), faith is exhibited in “hearing” God.
We “hear” God by studying the Bible.
Through that study, we find that God is always faithful to His promises.
Through Bible study, we find how to become Jesus’ faithful disciples.
John 8:31-32 says,
31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Third, (Matthew 9:20-21), faith is exhibited when we “touch His garment.”
We touch the garment, and heart, of Christ when we pray in faith.
Those prayers are heard, and answered.
James 5:16 says,
“....The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

I could go on.
Faith is also exhibited in: regular attendance, giving, witnessing, ministering to others.

How are you exhibiting your faith in Christ?

Love ya,
