LIGHT from the WORD.

We express our LOVE for Christ through OBEDIENCE.
Obedience to Christ is not "grievous," or burdensome,
because we LOVE Him.

We don't, at first, comprehend the commandments of God.
We are FIRST taught LOVE for God.
Then, through love for Him, we grasp DOING for Him.

The commandments of God BEGIN with LOVING Him!
Because of that love, His commandments are "grievous," or heavy.
They are JOY!

It's a joy to SERVE Christ because we LOVE Him!
Therefore, we express our love through: study of His Word, prayer,
attendance and work in His church, caring for others, giving, and evangelism.
