DAILY DEVOTION

HI!

When people attend church, but don't pray regularly,
don't study the Bible regularly, and never become
involved in sharing Jesus with others,
it's kinda like mixing holy water with castor oil...
all you get is a religious movement.

THOUGHT________________________________

LIGHT from the WORD.

The brook "Cedron" is also referred to as the brook
Kidron (See 2Sam. 15:23).
It runs through a valley that is below the East wall of
Jerusalem.

David crossed that brook when he was running FROM his
son Absalom.
Jesus crossed that brook to run INTO the trouble!!

When Jesus crossed Kidron, He KNEW Judas would have
him arrested!
But Jesus didn't run FROM it!
He ran TO it!

This story depicts the LOVE of God!
When God knew of the SIN of mankind, He didn't
run FROM the trouble, He ran INTO it!

God, in Jesus Christ, came to:
FACE sin, DEFEAT sin, and to OFFER
eternal forgiveness and salvation to mankind.

When you face trouble, which way do YOU run?
You CAN run INTO it knowing the PRESENCE
of God WITH you!

Be ALERT to the trouble in our world today, and
be AWARE of God's presence WITH us.

Then, FACE it to DEFEAT it!

Love ya!
