Paul had received, what he called
"a thorn in the flesh."
He asked God to heal him three
times!
But the Scripture above is how
God answered him.
God did not REMOVE the
problem.
Instead, He pointed to a
GREATER spiritual matter!
When we have sickness, sorrow,
accidents, weakness, or even
cancer - FAITH RELIES ON
the LORD!
That does not seem
REASONABLE.
But, if faith relied on man
reasoning, then we would not
need daily confession and
acknowledgement of our sin!
When we become weak through
worldly problems, we RELY
upon the ONE Who has
ALL POWER!
FAITH reminds us of the song:
"YOU Raise Me Up!"
I am stronger when I am on
the Lord's shoulders.
He gives me spiritual strength
to CLIMB mountainous problems.
He makes me able to walk
OVER the storms of life!
Faith is NOT reasonable; it is
RELIANCE!
It is LIVING by RELYING on
CHRIST!
