Today's Devotion:
"FEAR Results In REVERENCE"
HI!
Once we had a little chihuaha puppy.
One morning, Ann was applying her
make-up in front of the large mirror.
The puppy came into the room, and
immediately began backing up and
barking.
She had seen herself in the mirror
and it had startled her.
Later, she would come to the mirror
and try to rub on the reflection of
herself.

Ps. 34:9
O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for
there is no want to them that fear Him.
KJV
1 Tim 4:10
For therefore we both labour and suffer
reproach, because we trust in the LIVING
God, who is the Saviour of all men,
specially of those that believe.
KJV
_______THOUGHT______________
The word "fear" in Ps. 34:9 above is
translated from the Hebrew yare'.
It means to have awesome reverence
for the Lord.
Jesus is "the LIVING God, who is the
SAVIOR of all men!"
Does YOUR reverence for the Lord
cause you to DESIRE His presence?
Yet, does that reverence cause you to be
genuinely HUMBLED before Him?
"My soul LONGETH, yea, even fainteth
for the courts of the LORD: my heart and
my flesh crieth out for the LIVING GOD!"
(Ps. 84:2)
Men have called others savior, but their
bodily remains can be found in graves.
NOT JESUS!
He died for our sins.
THEN, He rose again!!
He is the "LIVING GOD!"
He is the ONLY Savior of men, because
He PAID for our sins in His own blood!
His power causes us to have great
REVERENCE for Him.
Yet, His love, mercy and grace cause us
to YEARN for His presence!
We can exhibit our awesome reverence
(fear) of the Lord Jesus by desiring His
presence daily through prayer and
Bible study.
Love ya!
