Today's Devotion:
"FELLOWSHP"
The word "fellowship," in the Bible is
translated from the Greek koinonia.
It means to have partnership,
communication, genuine friendship
with someone.
_______SCRIPTURE____________
1 John 1:6-7
6 If we say that we have fellowship with him,
and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light,
we have fellowship one with another, and the
blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us
from all sin.

_______THOUGHT______________
When we believe in Christ and ask Him to
be our Lord and Savior we have FRIENDSHIP
with God!
That friendship leads to FELLOWSHIP and
PARTNERSHIP.
THEN:
*We have fellowship with Him through PRAYER!
We desire to talk to Him and ask His daily
guidance.
*We have fellowship with Him by BIBLE STUDY.
There we can learn more about Him as He
reveals it in the Word of God.
*We have fellowship in Christ's DESIRES.
He desires for sin to be driven away.
He desires for God's will to be done on earth.
*We have fellowship with Christ's MINISTRY.
HIs ministry is to share the Gospel, or the
GOOD NEWS of salvation to ALL.
He ministers to all by works of kindness.
And, He gives to His friends the "ministry of
reconciliation," and allows us to become
"ambassadors" from Him to the world.
(2Cor. 5:17-18)
*We have fellowship with Christ's LOVE.
As partners with Christ in ministry, we are
to love as He loves others.
He loves lost sinners and is always trying to
bring them to repentance and salvation.
This becomes one of our primary concerns.
*And, we will have fellowship with Christ's PEOPLE!
It will be our desire to be in a local, Bible
believing church; and not only be a member,
but also an active servant.
