THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

Mom was out in the driveway saying “Goodbye” to her son who was leaving for another semester in college.
Just as a friendly neighbor walked upon the scene, Mom said, “Write often Son.”

After the young man left, the friendly neighbor said,
“The best way to get him to write is to send him a letter saying, ‘Here’s a check for $50, spend it any way you like.’”

Mom asked, “Why would that make him write?”

Neighbor, “Well, you just forget to put the check in the envelope.
He’ll write back quickly asking if you forgot!”

Christians, we have a letter from God.
In the letter, God explains there’s MORE.
We just need to look and SEE!

“Fellowship” is daily communion requiring participation.

God IS “faithful!”
He is constantly calling men to receive more than they ever could imagine!
“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.” (Isaiah 55:1)

God’s checking account of “fellowship” contains more credit balance than we can ever spend!
The bank is “His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord!”

But this “fellowship” requires our participation.
We must daily determine to have communion with God through our relationship to Christ.

Study His Word.
LOOK in the “Letter.”
Then, MEDITATE upon His conversation with you.

That will certainly keep you in “fellowship” with Him.
And, it will cause you to desire having “.. no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”
(Eph 5:11)

Love ya!
