"FORGIVENESS"
HI!
Two brothers, Sam and Bill, were fighting.
Mom stopped them.
Then she said, “Sam, you tell him you’re sorry.”
He did.
Then she said, “Bill, you tell him you forgive him.”
He did.
When Mom left, Bill looked at Sam and said,
“Just wait ‘til I get you outside!”

Eph 1:7
In whom we have redemption through his blood,
the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of
his grace;

_______THOUGHT______________
Forgiveness is given by "the riches" of God's
GRACE!
That forgiveness comes through the precious
"blood" of Jesus Christ!
Eternal forgiveness has been BOUGHT by the
blood of Jesus!
It can be PROCURED by us only through our
surrender to Christ as Lord of our lives!
We must remember, though we have received
his eternal forgiveness, we are still sinners.
Daily, we need to come humbly to God in prayer
and ask forgiveness of our sins.
If we do not, we will strain our relationship with
God.
We can also strain that relationship if we do not
forgive OTHERS!
"But if ye forgive not men their trespasses,
neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."
(Matt. 6:15)
We must let the forgiveness of God flow constantly
through us to others.
If we do not, then we are STOPPING the flow
of God's forgiveness toward us!
Demonstrate the forgiveness of God though joyful
living and giving of self for others.
Remember, others may not read the Bible, but they
sure read YOU!
