THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Two middle-aged women met on the street.
"How are you?" asked one of them.
"Fine, thanks," replied the other.
"How's your son doing? Is he still unemployed?"
"Yes. But he's meditating now."
"Meditating? What's that?"
"I don't know," answered the woman with a shrug.
"But at least it's better than sitting around and doing nothing!"
2 Thess 2:15-17
16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father,
which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
17 Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.
Wow! What could that include?
Think about, meditate on these facts.
*Eternal pardon for sin.
*His Holy Spirit's witness of eternal salvation.
*His Holy Word's witness of complete justification.
*Continual access to His throne of grace through prayer.
*His acceptance in the "brotherhood."
*Guidance in understanding His Word.
*A "mansion" in His Holy place.
These are only SOME of the wonderful thoughts of "everlasting consolation"
that God pours out on His children daily!
When ya face tuff times;
When everything seems to be "topsy turvy;"
When your world is almost upside down;
THINK, MEDITATE on THESE things!
Let them "comfort" your heart, and give you "everlasting consolations!"
