THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

A man reached the pinnacle age of 105.
He was being intervewed by a TV reporter.

The reporter asked, "There sure have been lots of changes in this world since you've been born. Can you tell us about your experiences with some of them?"

The man said, "Yup! There's been lots of 'em all right. And I been agin' most of 'em!"

THOUGHT____________________________________

Focus for a moment on the thought: God is immutable, unchangeable.
He is always the same.
He is "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." (Heb 13:8)

Think of it, God's passion does not change.
His compassion does not change.
His plan does not change.
He always has the passion to save souls.
He always has the compassion to forgive.
He always stays with the plan to forgive and save all who come to Him.
And He will always forgive when we willingly and openly confess our sin.

Our text says, it is because of this immutable love of God that He did not totally wipe out Israel.
Even though they were involved in the most gross forms of idolatry, God still saved a "remnant" who would serve Him.
He didn't have to, but that was His plan from the beginning: to use Israel to deliver the Messiah.
And God always stays with His plan.

Think of it my dear friends.
God loves you today just as He did when He died on Calvary's cross.
God loves you today just as He did when He wooed you with His Holy Spirit.
God loves you today just as He did when He sent someone to tell you of Jesus.
God loves you today just as He did when He helped you walk down that aisle with conviction in your heart.
God loves you today just as He did when He cleansed your sins upon your confession of Him as Lord and Savior.
God loves you with the same passion, compassion and plan!<>A man reached the pinnacle age of 105.
His plan is total redemption!
He will not vary from that plan.
God will one day, by His grace, love and power, bring you to the completion of that plan.

Phil 1:6
6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
KJV

Because God is immutable, He is ever faithful to you as His child!
Now, answer the question truthfully: Is your love for Him the same as it was the day you first surrendered to Him?

If it is not, then meet him on your knees in confession and repentance.
He will RENEW your relationship, and REVIVE your ambassadorship!

Love ya!
