An accountant died, and when he came to the "pearly gates," Peter asked, "What is your name?"
The man answered, "W.C. Hatfield, sir. But I'm too young to be here. I'm only 48!"

Peter said, "Hmmm....what kind of work did you do?"
The man said, "I was an accountant."

Peter rifled through a file cabinet and came up with a very thick folder.
After looking for a moment, he said, "No, by our records you're plenty old enough."

The man said, "How could that be?"
Peter said, "Well, according to all the hours you charged your clients, you're 98!"

Ps 50:16-17
16 But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?
17 Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.

Notice those who are called "wicked."
They are the ones who "castest my words behind thee."

Can a person really be "holy" without reading the "Holy Word?"

Once we come to know Christ, we want to know MORE of Him!
And, the manner in which we know more of Christ is to read the Bible.
For the Bible is "The revelation of Jesus Christ" (Rev. 1:1).

Indeed, God tells us that study of His Word demonstrates we are "approved" of Him! (2Tim. 2:15)

God does keep records.
Rev 20:12
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

What is written in "the books" concerning you?
Is your name in "the Book of Life?"

Love ya,
