"GOSPEL PROPHESIED"

All we like sheep have gone
astray; we have turned every
one to his own way; and the
LORD hath laid on Him the
iniquity of us all.

A synopsis of the Gospel is
HERE in the Old Testament!
It is a 1,2 statement.
1) "ALL we" have sinned
against God by doing our
OWN thing instead of His!
(See Rom. 3:23)
"ALL we" have TURNED
AWAY from the plan God
laid out for us at the
beginning of creation.
Like obstinate children we
have gone our OWN way
instead of following our
heavenly Father's Word.
2) But God has OFFERED
RECONCILIATION for us!
"..the LORD hath laid on
HIM the iniquity of us all!"
Let us look at that
statement closely.
The word LORD is
YAHWEH or JEHOVAH.
It is the name of the
eternal, self-Existent God!
Jesus is the Son of God,
the WORD of God, and the
LIGHT (understanding) of
God.
He, as the ONLY visible
image of the invisible God,
has ACCOMPLISHED the
offer of reconciliation when
He vicariously died for OUR
sins on the cross!
He paid the debt we could
not pay!
And, the ONLY way to
RECEIVE that payment is
to SURRENDER to Jesus
as LORD!
