A Sunday School teacher was trying to impress the
children about living daily for Christ.
She said, “Now children, you should never do anything
in private that you wouldn’t do in public.”

One little boy piped up and said, “YAAAY!! No more baths!”

Col 2:6-7
6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord,
so walk ye in him:
7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith,
as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

LIGHT from the WORD.

Christians, we “received Christ Jesus” as “LORD.”
He is then Master of all we do, the center focus of our lives.

To “walk” with Him means to be going WITH Him;
to be OCCUPIED with Him.
Which leads into the next verse: to be
“rooted and built up in Him..”

One would agree that there are no limitations upon what
God can do with us.
And God has set no limitation upon how much we can
LEARN of Him.
Therefore, if we are OCCUPIED with Him, we will be
studying the Word of God!

Paul adds “stablished in the faith.”
To be established means to have a good foundation
and to BUILD.

A tree that is truly “rooted” will grow and bear fruit.
A building that has only a foundation is not useful.

Today, may your life in Christ be truly OCCUPIED with Him,
and may you grow to be USEFUL for Him.

Love ya!
