THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Sam had been “testy” all day.
Finally, Mom sent him to his room.
She told him, “You go to your room and STAY!
And, while you’re there, you better PRAY; and ask God to make you a better boy!”
Sam went to his room and knelt by his bed.
For a long time, he didn’t say anything.
Finally, he said, “God, if You can’t make me a better boy, don’t worry about it.
I’m having fun just like I am!”

The goal of almost every parent is for their children to “grow up!”
Parents want their children to mature and make wise decisions.
That’s why parents provide education for their children.
The goal God has for His children is the same!
God desires that we “grow up into Him (Christ)!”
And, that we grow up into Christ “in ALL things!”
God has even given us a “textbook” for our education – the BIBLE!
When we are saved, we are “born again.”
We are made new spiritually, and need to “grow up!”
1 Peter 2:2 says,
“As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:”
Sometimes, we get caught up in “having fun” just like we are.
And, we forget to GROW UP!

Are you applying Christ’s standards to your living?
