Today's Devotion:
"Get a JUMP START Every Day"

A wealthy retiree had just gotten a pacemaker.
He and his wife attended A special affair at the
country club.
All of a sudden the man just fell over on the
floor.

One of the members rushed over, looked at the man,
and said, "My! We need to call the paramedics!"

But the man's wife said, "Nah! Just call the auto
club, they can jump-start him!"

Rom 8:10
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead
because of sin; but the Spirit is life because
of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus
from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up
Christ from the dead shall also quicken your
mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the
flesh, to live after the flesh.
13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die:
but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the
deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Sometimes we need a jump-start in our spiritual
lives!
For Christians, there is some GOOD NEWS!

The same Holy Spirit Who raised Christ from the
dead lives in us!
If our mortal body dies, He will carry our
spirit alive unto Christ Who gave us life.

Also, if we are spiritually dead from weakness
or sinfulness, the same Holy Spirit can quicken
us and make us alive again.
He can bring new life to our soul everyday.

"Therefore," Paul says we are not to live
our lives according to "the flesh."
We are to live according to God's Spirit.
And God's Spirit "is life"! (verse 10).

Get a jump-start today!

Affirm that today, no matter your circumstances
or situation, Christ's Spirit lives in you and
makes you ALIVE!
And "...we are his workmanship, created in
Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath
before ordained that we should walk in them."
(Ephesians 2:10)

"If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in
the Spirit." (Galations 5:25)
