THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
I surrendered to the ministry, and about 10 months later
was called to pastor my first church.
It was a bi-vocational church, and I taught school.
After about 6 months, I began having severe headaches.
After some tests, the doctor told me I had rheumatoid
That was devastating news!
I might be crippled and have to use a wheel chair.
I felt anger, and questioned God often about WHY?
2 Cor 5:7
(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
LIGHT from the WORD.
Was it coincidence, or God's guidance that led me to do a study
When we face something like this, it is to our benefit to turn TO God,
and NOT away!
During such difficulty, we must learn to live by FAITH in our Lord.
The doctor, an old friend, told me I should go to an arthritis seminar.
They would teach me how to handle the disease.
There, we learned that we had to REGULATE our life.
*Regular exercise (not too strenuous).
*Schedule life and stick with the schedule.
*And, KEEP MOVING.
During this time, I learned to trust God implicitly, no matter
Because if we truly love Him, God is ALWAYS working in our
lives for GOOD. (See Rom. 8:28)
Many things have happened since that time, but
God has ALWAYS been there to strengthen me!
God is GOOD ALL the time!
Remember, if God has brought you TO it,
He will also bring you THROUGH it!
